It's in the dust and junk, where real life happened and the melancholy of glorious times still lingers, far from stages and affected behaviour. No Parisian chic to be found in the dark but edgyness and a past that left its marks like faded scars. If you are not open for this beauty, you might shrug it off as ugly, dirty and dangerous and oversee the hidden. Have a second glance and you might discover the unexpected.
I think shabby corners and cute outfits are a good match with their dichotomy. It's like the fact that there is no Beauty without the Beast or no Sale without Full Prices. Pastel pink iridescent rainbow shades found their counterpart.
Only after styling this look it occured to me that it could be a reference to Britney's Oops! I did it again video from the 90's with the schoolgirl skirt, the college jacket and the knotted top. I wouldn't be me if it wouldn't be more colourful than her version. And I bet good school girls like young Britney didn't hang around my rough corners ;-)
