Coincidence is my partner in crime: I didn't plan how the wind plays with my hair in these pictures, didn't know about the beautiful marble wall before leaving the house nor of jumping in front of the camera.

Coincidence is what made me start this blog, meet my boyfriend for the very first time and probably it's why I am here. Coincidence is everything, unless you believe in destiny.

Fashion is eventuality as well: There is no such a thing as THE perfect look, but a lot of chance happening why you have several pieces at hand and why certain things attract your eyes. They encounter you on the market in Bangkok, you had to wait for the bus in Zurich, or a friend told you about that particular shop in London. But all could have been very different if you went to Iceland, took the car instead of the bus or had tea with a different friend.

Coincidence might also make you win a pair of handmade Winkwood glasses, like the ones I wear. Do you believe that you might be the lucky one? Then give it a try! Good luck to all fellow friends of coincidence!

You get as well 30% when shopping at Winkwood with the code SARAISINLOVEWITH.

With the new collection "Monsters Garden Party" Louise – designer of British label L.O.M. – takes us on a journey to a dream world of colour and fantasy.

"I imagined I was invited to a garden party hosted by monsters. What would I wear to such an occasion?", says Louise about her latest work. The base of the collection are the well-loved and familiar lycra pieces. They have become a signature style of L.O.M. during the past collections. As an update to her lycra, Louise created a print that makes even monsters jealous: Gloopy leopard spots meet iridescent lizard skin in a digital print that creates a three-dimensional effect in bright pink and electric blue.

Another highlight of the collection are the glamorous dresses made from Barbie pink embellished tulle as well as bold golden quilt robes and cheeky lime green mesh dresses. Many pieces seem innocent at first sight, but beware of the monsters hidden in the details: Dragon eyeballs and delicate pointy teeth are stitched to the designs.

Since everything is so exciting, I came to believe that monsters must know how to party! Let's join and have fun together, you colourful souls out there!

Lovely Smell: Caudalie Eau Fraîche

Summer is approaching and with it the time where you don't feel like wearing heavy perfumes. Caudalie's Eau Fraîche Series might be the answer: It's fresh like a summer garden and just a subtle hint of scent that lingers on your skin. Store one of the beautiful bottles in your desk drawer and refresh yourself several times a day.

Since all Eau Fraîches are not photosensitive – unlike most perfumes – you can wear them during the whole summer without being afraid of the sun.

There are five Eau Fraîches available, I tested four of them for you, including the newest addition to the line launched this June.

Rose de Vigne
A floral fragrance with roses, berries, rhubarb, magnolia, and musk, launched in 2015.

I believe they are two sorts of people when it comes to rose fragrances: People who love them and people who hate them. If you belong to the first kind (like me), this might be for you, with its fruity and floral charm. The lovely pink bottle gets an extra point from me.

Fleur de Vigne
The Fleur de Vigne is a flower that only blooms a few days in June, heralding the grape harvest 110 days later. This lightweight green water combines white rose, pink pepper, and watermelon with grapefruit, mandarin, and cedar. It was the first Eau Fraîche from Caudalie, released 2002.

In my opinion, it is the freshest and most uplifting fragrance of all. It feels very energizing and like a little trip to a shady summer garden.

Figue de Vigne
As the name says, the star of this Eau Fraîche is the fig. It mingles with citrus fruit notes and white wood in the 2015 launched fragrance.

My least favourite Eau Fraîche from Caudalie, even if fruity fragrances are booming at the moment. I think it smells slightly like a sweet soap or a nice cleaning liquid. Maybe it's because I am not a big lover of the scent of figs anyway, but this is just not my Eau Fraîche.

Eau des Vignes
The newest addition to the Eau Fraîche Series is a composition of bergamot, iris and white musk. It was launched in June 2017.

It was love at first smell: It's sparkling, sensual and vitalising. I want to smell it again and again and think we will become close friends this summer. If I had to choose one favourite smell in the world, it would be the one of bergamot, just like a fresh cup of Earl Grey tea and this fragrance captures my beloved scent very well. Yes, yes, yes Eau des Vignes, I love you very much!

You are the maker of your own happiness! For a long time, I thought this is a hollow sentence found on calendar sheets and not much more. But wait for a second!

A while ago I chose to focus more on what's good in my life instead of living for what I might achieve in the future. Surprisingly this new attitude has quite an effect on me.

I made a list of things that I am looking forward – from small events like a dinner with friends or having a day off to bigger steps like the next holidays or an important career step – and I was genuinely surprised by how long the list got. I got aware of all that I have, while very often was craving for what I miss in the past.

Therefore to focus must be a major key to happiness. This is the way I wanna go from now on!

Even if my life is not a fairytale, it is quite good: I can do a lot of what I love while I am surrounded by people I love, and there are constantly exciting things happening. Sure not things that will appear in history books, but very often you find happiness in the details if you just focus.

And by the way: I even found a wall to fit my outfit perfectly. Isn't that cool?

My love for rainbows doesn't disappear, the opposite: It grows and we must have a double or even triple rainbow by now. As even (after many other fashion labels) Gucci embraces the rainbow-hype with their platform shoes, it feels entirely justified. Why decide for one favourite colour if you can have the full spectrum combined?

Rainbow is an attitude, and it's the opposite of restriction, it means getting everything. If you are not convinced yet: Imagine if Skittles would all be in the same colours and admit that would be the end of the world as we know it.

I see the rainbow as a symbol of fun and enthusiasm: It makes me think of all things happy like the innocence of childhood, a box of coloured pencils and beloved comic characters like Rainbow Dash or the Care Bears. You all know that I love flamingos, but I can't deny there is one advantage rainbows have even over my favourite animals: There is a rainbow emoji, yay! So let's send them around the world and spread the colour, start a rainbow movement!

I can already see myself on holidays with a pair of stylish rainbow sunnies and the matching swimsuit, relaxing in a huge floatie, sipping fruity cocktails.

Rainbow I love you, cause you make me dream and that is a mighty power!

Many years ago – somewhere in Tunisia – kind of a love story began, when I had my first encounter with the oldest cleansing tradition of the world: The hammam. I was deeply impressed by the mind-opening experience of relaxing in the beautiful atmosphere of a vaulted cellar.

I purified my body according to the ritual, enjoyed drinking steamy mint tea from glasses with ornamental decoration while the ladies around me chatted in their melodic language. This is one of my most beloved memories.

In our fast world, a visit to the hammam can feel like a precious gift: Finally, you can let all your troubles go and focus only on yourself, your body, and your mind. Since my first encounter with the hammam, I go there occasionally, and it helps me to obtain an inner state of peace.

Luckily there is a hammam in every bigger city, and even better: Now Rituals brings the hammam feeling to your home. No need to go on holidays or to a fancy spa, you can do something for your inner balance right where you live. In case you didn't know, in Arabic, the word hammam means bathroom as well so this is where it happens! I see my whole flat as a private island of relaxation, and the hammam products help me to create my beloved ceremony at home.

This is my Ritual of Hammam

Preparation: Don't disturb my home spa
Turn the mobile phone off and place it in a drawer, this time is only for you, and you shouldn't get disturbed. I suggest to prepare some fresh mint tea and put on quiet music. My choice is Lebanese singer Yasmine Hamdan (see Spotify playlist at the end of this post). I love her songs as sweet as honey full of mystery. Suddenly my home feels like a place right from Sheherazad's story book.

Maybe only some fragrance sticks are missing till you are ready for the hammam at home.

Step 1: The Ritual of Hammam Black Soap
Apply a thin layer of the massage soap based on refreshing eucalyptus and nourishing olive oil onto your entire body to begin your ritual.

Step 2: The Ritual of Hammam Hot Scrub
This is probably my favourite step because I love the warming effect of the sea salt scrub with ginger and eucalyptus.
Apply and massage your entire body in circular movements to exfoliate your body, then rinse off.

Step 3: The Ritual Hammam Body Mud
When your skin is still tingling from using the scrub, it’s time for the rich body mud for ultimate purification. It's made with mineral rhassoul clay and eucalyptus and helps to purify and polish your skin.

Step 4: The Ritual of Hammam Foaming Shower Gel
This foaming shower gel refreshes and revitalizes your skin, while you enjoy the scent of eucalyptus and rosemary. Massage it onto your skin and see how it turns into a creamy foam.

Step 5: The Ritual of Hammam Body Cream
We already reached the last step: Body lotion is a special treat for the skin and helps to keep it hydrated. This rich cream gives a lovely silky feeling. Besides the hammam ritual, I use it on a daily base.

After the ritual: Let's have more mint tea
I love best to sit on my terrace enjoying the evening sun after my hammam ritual. Since my balcony is Mexican-themed, I feel like I just came back from a dream journey around the world, starting from Turkey going through Tunisie and ending in Mexico City.

What a relaxed cosmopolitan life!

The lovely guys from Blippo landed their next cute coup: The Fukubukuro lucky mystery bags. They offer not just one, but six different bags, all generously filled with stickers, magazines, plush toys, candy or stationery items from Asia. It's your choice for which one you go to join a trend which is very popular in Japan.

Each bag is randomly filled with a mix of at least 15 products from the kawaii warehouse of Blippo. The real value of everything in the bag is about 50 Dollars. The prices start from $ 11.90 and go up to $ 36.90 for the Magazine pack; worldwide shipping is included in all orders.

When my Surprise Kawaii Mixed Bag reached me, I was very curious and couldn't wait to open it. As soon as I spotted the stuffed pink bag, my excitement got even bigger, because it looked like a candy itself. But the inside was even better: I took out piece after piece of surprises, and it seemed never-ending. Cute plush items, Hello Kitty sunglasses, the most adorable fruit hair clips and two gorgeous luggage tags and much more came out of my bag. The little melon purse already found a place in my handbag, and I will label my suitcase with the lama tag for this summer holidays.

I think I rarely got so many things for less than $ 20 and therefore I can honestly recommend the lucky bags. They are lovely gifts for lovers of everything kawaii as well, and therefore I want to give one as a gift to a lovely reader.

All you have to do is to follow the instructions in the box below to participate. The giveaway is open worldwide. Don't forget to smile when you receive a parcel from Blippo :-)

What is better than eating delicious ice cream on a hot summer day? When Magnum teams up with Moschino's Jeremy Scott to create a capsule collection of quirky comic bags! It is an unexpected union of two things that I love, and I couldn't be more excited.

Since rebellious Jeremy Scott became creative director of Moschino, I am deeply in love with how the label pushes the limits of style again and again. Their clash of luxury high fashion with pop culture and lowbrow is truly unique and fashion at its best: Bold and fresh!

The collaboration with Magnum seems logical after Moschino's Mac Donalds inspired collection a few years ago ( I still adore this collection so much and I am happy I own a bag). No fast food menu without dessert! Of course, I couldn't resist getting one of the bags. And guess what: I didn't just greedily grab one for myself, but secured one for one of my lovely readers too. Read below how to enter my giveaway.

This summer you will see me eating the new Magnum Double ice cream bars raspberry and coconut (very, very yummy) while I carry my Moschino wild beast with me. Yay!

How to win a Moschino x Magnum bag:
Simply leave a comment below this post. I will give away a limited yellow Moschino x Magnum bag, value EUR 260. The giveaway is open worldwide and ends on the 6th of August 2017.

Good luck!

You must all know already: I love receiving parcels, and I love surprise boxes. Therefore I was pleased as punch to find the La Petite Box Tropical edition in my letterbox a while ago.

La Petite Box is a monthly Swiss lifestyle, fashion and beauty subscription box. Every box has a new theme and is filled with selected items. If you hold the box in your hands and see how carefully and lovely it's packed, you can feel the love the makers put into their project. They deliver to Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

The box that I got was curated by Swiss fashion blogger Nissi Mendes. Nissi has Portuguese roots and is a girl who likes to travel a lot. The content of the box reflects her attitude and is right on trend with the tropical vibes.

What I had in my box:

Fashion
– T-Shirt with tropical print (the one that I am wearing in the pictures)
– NU ICONS magazine

Beauty
– Ultrasun Glimmer suncream
– L'Oréal multi-masking detox-box face masks
– Similasan gel-to-milk, mild face tonic and face serum
– Missoni perfume as a mini
– Swiss Smile dental kit
– label.m heat protection spray

Drinks
– a bottle of Mucho Mango drink by Arizona

I love this box, and especially the T-Shirt and I are going to be good friends this summer. I am happy to have the Similasan products because I bought the face cream of the same line and loved it and can't wait to include the whole series in my daily routine. A few of the other products like the suncream and the mini perfume will be very handy for my upcoming holidays.

I am satisfied and curious what the theme of the next one will be!

Everybody who lives in Switzerland knows: It's no shopping paradise for beauty products because they are far more expensive than in the neighbouring countries. Retailers put it mostly on the higher salaries and the exchange rate fluctuations. Ordering from abroad is no solution since you have to bear very high customs duties sometimes.

beautycare.ch:
More is More, unless when it comes to prices!

The founders of the online shop beautycare.ch were convinced it must be possible to get beauty products for less in Switzerland. With their network of sellers and contacts, they found ways to make this vision come true. Nowadays they sell two-thirds of products cheaper than 140 other shops. They offer hair products, cosmetics, and perfume, all for women and men. Besides the well-known big brands every good department store has on their shelves, you will find a few rarer gems as well.

My order:
A tropical dream in a bottle

My first order was a bottle of Creed Virgin Island Water. It's one of those perfumes you don't find in every department store, and even if it got recommended to me by a friend, I never had the chance to try it. The name of this unisex scent promises a scent like from a tropical paradise, and therefore I was curious.

Just to make it clear: If you don't like coconuts, better stop reading! If you are a coconut sucker like me, Virgin Island Water will be a revelation. It's THE ultimate coconut scent, it smells holiday in a bottle, distinctive and unique at the same time. My first spritz made me fall in love with the uplifting cocktail of coconut, lime, and ginger.

While the bottle looks rather masculine, I can imagine many men would not favour it, because of the many sweet notes like vanilla, hibiscus, white rum, sugar cane and jasmine, but my girly nose is enchanted.

I found my summer fragrance, and I might wear it the whole winter as well to keep dreaming of a beautiful coconut island!

Giveaway:

Win a CHF 50 voucher from beautycare.ch

You can't say I don't treat my readers well: I want you to have the experience of shopping at beautycare.ch. Therefore I am giving away a CHF 50 voucher.

All you have to do is to leave a comment on this post and tell me about your favourite perfume. This giveaway is open to all residents of Switzerland and will end on the 24th of August 2017.

Lovely Summer Wish List

Banana Scarf  –  Rainbow Girl Earrings  –  Flamingo Neon Light
Love Galaxy Wallet  – Damn It T-Shirt  –  Pink Handbag
Flower Print Dress  –  Jelly Print  Pleated Skirt  – Metallic Platform Shoes  –  Pink Retro Suitcase

Daily Life is so much hustling, full of long to do lists and tight deadlines, sometimes it's just time for a break, time for holidays! I am ready, and this wish list is what I am missing to pack my dream wardrobe.

Holidays are the best time of the year in my opinion (and I bet you agree). But while others crave for wearing only swimsuits for three weeks probably, I feel the need to dress up brighter than usual and wear the coolest looks I can imagine. Who doesn't want to look good on the holiday pictures and while discovering new places in a foreign country?

While there are many holiday shopping lists out there, most of them don't mention the way you transport your wardrobe: I say that you can only travel in style when you have a stylish suitcase! I think instead of buying another swimsuit (while having loads already) is's wiser to invest in a proper suitcase and I am in love with this pink beauty.

All the stunning things deserve to be transported in a lovely case, and it's easier to find it again at the airport if you don't have number 1293 of the ugly black suitcases.

So please, wish list items come to me fast, my plane is taking off soon ;-)

I sincerely enjoy tropical places wherever I am. When you start looking for them you realize, there are more of them than you thought. I love to visit beautiful parks, tropical gardens, and greenhouses. One of my favourite places in the world is Kew Gardens, one of the (or even THE) biggest botanical collection in the world.

Palm trees and cacti have a certain magical attraction on me. When I am in a tropical garden, I can trick myself into thinking it‘s holidays.

Therefore I love best to wear my holiday looks and this year I am especially fond of jumpsuits. This all-in-one garment is comfortable to wear, and it comes in various fits for all body shapes.

My favourite jumpsuit style is fitted at the waist and with long, wide legs. Combined with slim high heels this style fakes killer legs. A jumpsuit look doesn‘t necessarily require a lot of jewellery (especially if you go for a printed fabric) but I couldn‘t resist wearing my new flamingo fascinator. After all flamingos like palm trees too, everybody knows. Botanical garden I love you and I love to dress up to visit you!

What is your trick for a mini holiday experience?

Yay, the new La Petite Box arrived a few days ago, and I couldn't wait to show you! This months theme is "Summer Lovin" and they thought of everything required for my favourite season of the year.

For all of you who haven't heard of La Petite Box: It's a trendy Swiss lifestyle subscription box. The lovely team of La Petite Box is very dedicated to surprise you again and again. Every month they bring exclusive beauty products, fashion, food, and home decoration items right to your mailbox.

This is what I found in my "Summer Lovin" box:

Pompom Sandals by virgule
Aren't those the ultimate beach shoes? I love how cheerful and bright the pompoms are and will pack them for my holidays.

"Be Happy" Wristband
Another colourful item, yay! This wristband with its tassels goes very well with the sandals and completes a cool summer look. It's supposed to be a lucky charm as well. Can't tell you yet if it brings luck or not, but it looks pretty for sure. ;-)

Curaprox Black is White Toothpaste and Toothbrush
My one and only toothpaste! Since I got my first tube for a blogger review two years ago, I haven't used nother one. Unlike another kind of toothpaste it's black, but it surprisingly keeps my teeth white and has a fresh lime-mint taste.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Aqua Gel
This face cream is indeed a hydro boost, and this is what the skin needs during the warm summer months! I mix it with a drop of face oil for even better results since my skin tends to be quite dry.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Original
Another favourite of mine, not just for festivals. This spray keeps the hair fresh on days when you don't wash it (helps against colour fading in my case). As well I love to use it as a styling tool because it adds volume and gives hold.

Ultrasun After Sun
Wow, I am impressed: I just binned an empty bottle of after sun and here comes a new one. Since my skin is very sensitive, it's essential to care for it in summer. I never leave the house without sun cream and when I go to the beach aftersun is a must. When you apply it you can feel how your skin relaxes. This one is even without critical contents, mineral oils, emulsifiers, and preservatives.

Martini Bianco & Thomas Henry Tonic Water
La Petite Box says cheers to summer and suggests to do that with a Martini Tonic. All you need for a little bit of Italian dolce vita in your life is 7cl of Martini, 7cl of tonic, ice cubes and a slice of lime. Sounds refreshing, doesn't it?

Places Magazine
A lovely designed Swiss magazine about fashion accessories and beauty since we all need something to read at the beach.

Sad but true: Bodies don't come with a restart button. This is the reason why I decided it's finally time to take better care of mine.

Despite knowing better, I used to cheat myself with the sweet illusion that if I eat crisps in the dark and finish my bar of chocolate without leaving evidence, my body wouldn't betray myself. The fact that I have been a Vegetarian since my teenage years helped me to stay in shape and people were often surprised when I told them that I don't do any sports. But with the years I realized it would get harder to stay in shape and even more important: Healthy. So time for a rapid change!

A little bit more than a month ago, in a sudden rush of motivation, I picked a personal trainer. This was the trigger to more than I thought: I am doing sports twice a week with a discipline that astonishes myself, and for the first time in my life I miss something when I have to skip a lesson (which only happens if there is a very good excuse).

I exchanged cereals and marmalade bread with smoothies, stopped drinking almost entirely, and my diet turned (almost) Vegan. I find a lot of pleasure in discovering the new (and therefore exciting) world of sports clothing and healthy nutrition.

I am still struggling with certain exercises, but it fills me with pride when I master something I wouldn't have a few months ago. My boyfriend says he can already see a change – and I am very motivated to go on and feel good in the meanwhile. I'll tell you more about my training schedule soon, now I'm off for a run, of course, dressed in pink and purple ;-)

Go Sara go!

Once I read an interview with a woman born almost blind, whose sight could be restored as an adult. She described the shock she felt when she saw her and her friends' skin not just as blurry flares for the very first time. In her imagination faces used to flawless and she had a hard time coping with reality being different.

I very often think about this extraordinary story, while I am in the bathroom doing my makeup: My natural face sometimes seems to belong to a (not so cute) panda with (rather) dark circles around the eyes, and as a perfectionist, I wish I could wear makeup day and night. Therefore it might not be surprising that concealer is my favourite beauty product.

The new Benefit Boi-ing concealers promise to hide all problems from discolouration to unevenness and dark circles: The four products provide different levels of coverage from light to strong and have special features like extra hydration or a brightening effect, all according to your needs. Each of the concealers comes in three skin tones.

The four masters of disguise from the Boi-ing family:

Bo-ing Industrial Strength Concealer
This is the ultimate and waterproof full coverage weapon against every blemish, discolouration and dark circles!

Boi-ing Brightening Concealer
A creamy concealer with full coverage that brightens melon undertones and tired eyes for a radiant finish.

Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer
A sheer-to-medium coverage real life filter to hide lines, unevenness and under eye circles with an instant "airbrush" finish.

Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer
This sheer coverage concealer for a natural finish comes with vitamin E and apple seed extract for dry skin around the eyes.

My blunt opinion:

Gosh, Benefit I just love you! Every product I try honestly convinces me. For me, the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer works best because the coverage is brilliant and I love how it gently blends in with my skin. It's waterproof and long-lasting which makes it ideal for long days and photoshoots.

But it's a tough choice because I love the Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer as well since I have rather dry skin. Last but not least, I can't resist saying something about the packaging: Aren't they the cutest? They might hide blemishes, but they certainly don't have to hide on their own!

Benefit, you won me over: I say yes to less photoshop and more real life retouch!
Benefit is available at Manor at the Sephora corner in Switzerland.

Sometimes you encounter the work of a young designer, and you are completely amazed by the fresh creativity. This is what I felt when I faced Heidi Mortimer Hicks' designs for the first time. Her rainbow coloured furry pieces, and fun crochet creations caused that love at first sight feeling. In a sea of seriousness, those pieces bring back a wave of playfulness.

Heidi Mortimer Hicks is a Manchester (UK) based fashion brand. Their designs are colourful, playful and have a hand craft element at its core. They are very proud to produce everything in the UK since the label aims to create sustainable and local slow fashion. They believe in a particular bond that forms between them and the people who wear their clothes, especially since the hand crafted items have a very distinct human touch.

Just like Isabella Blow bought all pieces of the first collection of Alexander McQueen, I immediately craved to do the same with Heidi's designs. I'd pair the clothes with all my other rainbow stuff for a bright head to toe statement look, but bet they work very well with something less dramatic.

Heidi Mortimer Hicks is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to help launch the brand. You can take part here, support them and get deals on their cute products:

Like every year, I refuse to let the cold of autumn in my heart and soul and linger as long as possible in my tropical summer mood. Let's pretend it's still warm, let's be fooled into thinking the sounds we hear is palm leaves rustling in the wind. I try to pose as effortless as I can, wearing things from warmer countries: My look is a very international mixture from Spain, Thailand, China, Columbia/Venezuela.

It's a matter of heart to point out my hat and bag: They are both from the Swiss non-profit organization Mama Tierra (read more about them in my post here). I truly adore the extraordinary craftsmanship of the Wayuu woman who made the pieces.

At the moment Mama Tierra is running a campaign to bring solar energy to their homes in South America. There are only a few days left, and I think it's a cause so worthy of support, especially since I know the amazing women behind the project. They work very hard and with a lot of passion and I wish that they can soon turn on the lights in over 100 Wayuu households to make the lives of those people easier and safer.

Me and prints: A never-ending love story! As a trained graphic designer I can't get enough of them, love to mix prints and be surrounded by them all the time. Yes, I am a print hunter, always on the watch. And today I am very excited to show you my newest finds from I LIKE PAPER.

I LIKE PAPER is a young label from Berlin (Germany) that works with designers, artists, and illustrators from all over the world to create unique accessories made with love. Among other printable materials, they use Tyvek®, a tear proof water resistant paper made from plastic. Tyvek® can be recycled up to five times, and since all products come with a varnish, they are as long-lasting and flexible as similar products made from leather.

But be warned: Choosing designs on I LIKE PAPER is a difficult task because the vast selection will blow your mind. After a long time of browsing, I went for a pillow case with flamingos (what else) to sit on my baby blue Acapulco chair, a tiger watch to go with my Kenzo looks and a case with the cutest hand print ever. All three items are winners and help me on my mission to surround myself with as much quirkiness and colour as possible.

Yay! I want to order more cause I like paper, yes I do!

Yaaaaay another kawaii box arrived! This is my favourite subscription box and it never ceases to surprise me. No, no I'll never get too old for cute stuff and believe that a girl can never have enough.

I can't travel to Asia every time I feel the need for some cuteness in my life, therefore I am grateful Kawaii Box delivers their handpicked mix of Asian goodies right to my doorstep. There is no place to far away in the world to receive a box full of happiness.

This time I had 10 cute items in my box, my favourites are a Hello Kitty tin pencil case, a unicorn squishy charm and fruity washi masking tape. I also love the tiny stickers I discovered. I first thought they are nail stickers, but the card told me they are meant to decorate the diary. For only $ 19.90 I think I got a lot of cute things and feel like a little girl in a candy shop. Time to not spice up my life but cute up my life!

Now it's your turn: Win a KAWAII BOX

Just follow the instructions in the box below to participate and the winner will be chosen randomly. The giveaway is open worldwide. Smile when you receive your Kawaii Box :-)

Do you remember the knitting work of your grandmother made with all her love and attention to every stitch? Swiss Designer Beatriz Würsch brings that feeling back with her label Yaya.

Beatriz loves to knit and uses her needles wherever she is – only in restaurants and bars they rest(although she thinks that's odd). Very often she encounters people who ask her about knitting, and it's the start of conversations and them telling her stories of their lives. I imagine Beatriz weaving parts of those stories into her beautiful handmade fabrics made of alpaca, cashmere, merino or silk yarn.

The pieces made by Beatriz and her team of local craftswomen are using old sewing patterns with a contemporary twist. In a world of global mishmash, Yaya is a piece of local identity to be worn by forward-thinking people who care about design and sustainability.

I am honoured to be one of the faces of this new collection because I instantly felt the love this woman puts in her work. I loved how the oversized jumpers changed my silhouette and of course how fluffy they are. Thank you, Beatriz, for making me part of your world of knitted joie de vivre!
