A few days ago, Jeremy Scott presented the Resort 2019 collection of Moschino in Los Angeles and it was a brilliant, all circus-themed fun show. The runway – of course a big tent – featured everything people anticipate to see in a circus: Balloon artists mingled with juggling stilt-walkers next to caged (plush) tigers, there was a Ferris wheel and of course cotton candy. But the highlight was, of course, the fashion. While everybody was saying for years that fashion is a circus, Jeremy took this literally and turned it into a fabulous freak show.

My latest look doesn't include any Moschino, but I think I could have smuggled in my primary-coloured rainbow style without any problems. Yes, I am in the circus already, cause what could be more fun than being where the breathtaking stunts, the incredible magic, and amazing wonders happen? For me, circus means the opposite of grey and boring, a world where people can stop worrying and being serious all the time. It's a whimsical world full of colours, joyfulness, and happiness.

Call me a fashion clown if you like. I don't care but show you my red-lipped smile and continue having fun. I am sure my favourite fashion showman Jeremy would approve this attitude ;-)

Who is the cutest cartoon character in the universe? Hello Kitty, of course, cause her cute face is everywhere! Did you ever realize that your favourite cat doesn't have a mouth? Since somebody told me I can't forget about this.

But maybe Kitty doesn't need a mouth: She can play the piano, she can be everything she wants to be, and she has her own theme park, train and even traveled to space on her own little satellite. There is nothing Kitty can't achieve, she doesn't need to talk but just to follow her heart! Maybe her makers wanted to tell us that it's what we do and what we feel that matters, not what we say.

As a kid, I didn't have any Hello Kitty stuff, despite Kitty being around since 1974. Maybe that is why I need to catch up now and surround myself with a big flock of cute white Kittys. Everything from pencil cases to rulers and bowls is just more fun with Kitty's face on it! Thanks to Blippo I don't have to go to Japan to fetch my cuties, but they come all to my doorstep.

So darlings, from now on I stay home on my days off, wearing my loungewear while I cuddle with Hello Kitty.

Since I am wearing a skirt so short and tight I wouldn't have chosen it last year; I think it's the right moment to talk about self-confidence and my relationship with my body! I am telling you those things because I hope some of you might find comfort or inspiration for more self-love in this article.

Let me go back to the times when I was a teenager till my early twenties: At this time I used to feel very disconnected from my body and didn't consider it as an inseparable part of me, but more as a vessel I haven't chosen but was given without having a choice.

Sometimes I saw it even as a cage that kept me from being who I'd like to be and doing what I wanted to do with its restrictions. When I listen to the song "My body is a Cage" by Peter Gabriel I can still feel a hint of my emotions from back then. Living like this is not easy, I am sure everybody who experienced the same will agree.

Only in my mid-twenties, something changed: I came to recognize that there is nothing wrong with my body. I told myself even if it might not be the best body in the world, that's fine since I can work on it and we can be a good team.

I never had a particularly unhealthy lifestyle – I've been a Vegetarian since I was fourteen, never smoked and didn't drink excessively  – but now I started to look even better after me. I began to eat more consciously, started to do sports and came to recognize and accept the stop signals my body sent me when I was using up my energy and resources without taking care of myself. I live plant based now and genuinely enjoy working on myself.

Today I believe that the way people react on you is to a significant part based on what you radiate: If it's excitement and positive energy, chances are good you get treated with those emotions too. From my own experience, I can say, that being kind to yourself and working on your positive energy is a powerful weapon that makes you happier and stronger.

So please girls: See the good in you and work on yourself instead of spending your time being unhappy!

It was exactly one year ago when I experienced a sudden need for change: I felt that my lifestyle could be improved and it was time to take better care of myself. Long hours for my job at a branding agency and on top being model, photoshop wizard and girl for everything for my blog had left his marks. I didn't feel as fit as I wished, even if I never had issues with overweight. A glass of champagne at endless blogger events, compensation of stress through chocolate and my main exercise being a few steps to the bus were just not the best I could do for my future. Besides, as a fashion girl, it just matters to me that I fit into all crazy dresses and they look good on me.

Before I had a concrete plan, the plan found me: My blogger friend Jesca Li released a post, about her experience with a program at Atlas Transformation in Zurich that combines one-to-one EMS personal training (electrical muscle stimulation), a metabolism cure and weekly semi-personal training group sessions (once or twice per week training with 3-8 attendees). What convinced me was the proof in form of her before and after pictures: The difference is just remarkable and I thought if she could do this, I could too. Before I had second-thoughts I booked my first appointment.

When I arrived at the gym which is at a very central location very close to Bellevue I was positively surprised: Atlas Transformation turned out to be nothing like the gyms I've known, but a small and sophisticated studio that makes you feel comfortable whenever you step in. My trainer Jenny and me had a lovely chat about my goals and right from the beginning I felt in good hands and still love her encouraging and positive way.

I started with EMS and the Barre Fusion class, both once a week. In the beginning, the training was very challenging for me: I never did a plank before and my coordination was just a disaster. But the newly found motivation kept me going and it also helped to get in touch with the girls from my group training to exchange experiences. I love the EMS training because of its effectivity: The electrical impulses target muscle reactions while you train and that's what makes a short 30 minutes feel like an hour of regular workout. I usually do the EMS during my lunch break. That they have amazing plant-based healthy snacks such as a delicious acai bowl is very handy then.

During the personal training sessions, Jenny is always generous with inspiration, as an example, it was her who made me fall in love with smoothies and say goodbye to alcohol almost completely. All she needed was to tell me once: No pressure, no sinister words of warning, just motivation! Being a vegetarian since I was fourteen I also decided to go fully plant-based and it was extremely helpful that a wholesome plant-based diet is part of the Atlas Transformation philosophy.

It didn't take long until I saw results and that hooked me up for more. I kept my curves but my body changed and I even fit into the clothes I used to wear when I was 17, omg! And indeed my metabolic age went from 22 to 19, I dropped my weight by 5 kg, decreased my body and viszeral fat with keeping my muscle weight at the same time. I reached my finetuning goals for my shape, gained posture improvement and increased my body awareness through this training combination.

But the probably most surprising part of my change is that I started to enjoy exercise. I didn't want to admit it in the first place because I carefully built the image of being the pale fashion girl who despised sports, but now it's time to get rid of that old me: New me feels better, healthier and happier and you just can't keep her from going!

Hi, this is Sara without the H, a girl captured in Zurich in an LA-style setting while wearing gorgeous African wax prints mixed with designer pieces and high street fashion.

Quite a clash isn't it? And totally where I do feel home: Dancing over borders, always looking for moments when different cultures, styles, and worlds come together, unite and melt into something new and beautiful. An entity is nothing but the combined amazingness of all its parts. Something as mundane as street style can become an expression of a life philosophy if you look twice and don't think clothes are nothing more but the fibers they are made from.

"What is Sara is in Love with about?" I got asked quite often. Well, I think this post shows it especially well: It's about building a world seen through my eyes, a joyful place of colours where individuality and being different is embraced, it's the empire of a crazy fashion chick sourcing inspiration from a globalized world.

I want to help to empower all the creative weirdos out there: It's ok to not fit in, just use your energy to change the world according to your visions and most important: Create and go your own way till you discover all the drawers they want you to put in have got too small.

I believe no matter where you are, you can find beauty in a place if you just keep looking hard enough. I heard bloggers complaining that we don't have such colourful and pretty walls as in LA over here: Look at my post, we do! It might have been more work to find them and capture them the way I imagined, but the harder things are to find the more precious they are!

All my pictures are made with music, it’s inseparably woven into them and they are breathing music like I breathe the air around me. Music is the source of inspiration I probably never mentioned, next to costume design, pop art, science fiction, Japanese street style, vintage pictures and many more. Unlike the others, music is not a visual form of expression and therefore might be less an obvious fashion inspiration resource, but I believe all sensual experiences are aspiring to express emotions in the end, no matter if acoustic, visual or olfactory.

Whenever I style looks and edit pictures, there is always music accompanying me, being my partner in crime and major influence. Very often I have that one specific song in mind when I work. This song completes the mood I am about to create and music is never just unrelated background for me. I couldn’t imagine a life without music at all, sometimes I cling to it like to an anchor, it enhances my feelings and there is always a song mirroring every feeling I am experiencing from utter crazy happiness to the deepest moments of sadness. Music is like a cloak surrounding me, sharing what I experience and comforting me when all colours disappear from my life for a moment of sadness.

What song goes with this outfit you might ask? For once I let you know and maybe just one of you listens to it while having a look at my pictures: Bubble Pop Electric by Gwen Stefani. I image dancing to it at a crazy summer party with a ball pit where I am wearing this look.

So Johnny, get out of here!

If somebody had asked how my personal paradise looks, I would have answered like the factory from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but with more pink and candy instead of chocolate.

When I visited Lisbon this month, I discovered that the place I had in mind exists for real: The Sweet Art Museum is a place that encourages its visitors to say "Yes" to happiness. From the moment you spot the pink building, located in a row of grey industrial warehouses, you know: It's time to enter a dreamlike parallel universe where everything is cute, pink and sweeter than any sweets. It's time to rejoice for all your girly dreams coming true at once! Forget about dating a member of the Backstreet Boys (yes I know we all wanted that in the 90s), this is the real thing!

Have a bath in the sprinkle pool, get lost in ice cream land or have a ride on the lollipop merry-go-round. This place is Instagram dope and capable of making you feel like one giggling happy girl in heaven, even on a grumpy day. Paradise wouldn't be perfect if you couldn't eat sweets on the sly, so almost in every room, you end up with a mouth full of sugar.

If you wanna visit The Sweet Art Museum you should hurry, it's only there until the end of August 2018. Shhhhh, there are plans the museum might come to London, Madrid or Brasil soon, but don't tell anybody.

We are all driven by hope, it keeps us going: The hope that tells us there is a place in this world for every crazy fruit, hope to discover the colour nobody has ever seen before, hope to steal a smile from somebody dear, hope to reach a better place and last but not least: A lot of hope that dreams can become more than just wishes born in the depths of the subconsciousness.

Thousands of new ways and junctions are ahead of us day after day. We are constantly facing decisions such as if we wanna go ahead bravely, make a u-turn and reconsider or just stop. Sometimes the mind and the heart don't share the same opinion and we can only hope to consider well what both say.

I believe there is no such a thing as THE one and only way to do things or to find happiness in life, but a big sea of possibilities bringing happiness, pain, and love. All of them together turn into your unique story. Every choice means the birth and death of possibilities on the complex map of life.

But we shall never give up hope, no matter life is perfect or a total mess at this moment: There is hope the journey from the here and now is going to be a very good one. So let's be brave and face it!

The moment I've (not) been waiting for has come: I received three invitations for Christmas events last week, an unmistakable sign that people start to wave goodbye to summer and the time of falling leaves, gingerbread cookies and cuddling with fluffy scarves is almost here. Some are excited about the change of season, but not me, not yet: I see summer as a lover who is leaving, and I don't want to let him go. Oh, my love, dear summer, you can't escape through the back door, not without another kiss, please just one more time!

I went out with all my floaties and my best summer music for a little party in summer's honour. Gosh, I can't believe how good the sound from my new tiny Wonderboom speaker is. And the design of the waterproof speaker goes so well with my pastel wardrobe. In my opinion, styling is only perfect when you manage to match everyday objects to your style. Fun fact: This Wonderboom is called "unicorn," and I carry it in a unicorn backpack.

Yes, the backpack is stolen from the kid's department, but seriously: Growing up has nothing to do with losing the ability to love cute things I can't say enough. Act grownup, look just as ridiculous as you like and never, never ever stop believing in unicorns!

Let's start with a typical question a child might ask with big wide eyes: How many tiles are to be found on Lisbon's houses? I seriously don't know, tried to count them but got carried away by their beauty while the numbers only got bigger and bigger. I wish I could turn back the time and wander those beautiful streets again, bathed in warm golden light and pastel colours. Oh, how much visual happiness is in this place and how well African Wax Prints correspond with the geometric patterns of the tiles!

If I only had a few of Lisbon's houses in Zurich, I knew where my preferred photoshoot spots would be. I ask myself what inspired the people of Lisbon to make their city colourful, while the citizens of Zurich seemed to be inspired to go for a rather different choice and prefer grey... If I knew I'd instantly bring it here and I'd enjoy with a wide grin on my face the emerging of a new Zurich.

Until I find the answer, I think I have to continue to use my body as a canvas: African prints have become one of my favourite things to wear for a while now. I've always been fascinated by the looks of African ladies and think they look like queens with their strong colours, turbans and amazing dresses. But only recently I allowed myself to dive in deeper and especially: Wear the African creations with their idiosyncratic, rhythmic prints as a not African girl. Might this be a tiny little step into the future of a colourful Zurich? I keep on hoping forever!

Many times I passed the Pixi store in Soho/London, adored the beautiful packaging of the products through the windows, but it's only now that I finally tried them on my own and can let you know my review. Thanks to Marionnaud, Pixi products are available in Switzerland for a while now.

When makeup artist Petra Strand started her brand of youth-enhancing beauty products over 15 years ago, it was her aim to bring out the natural beauty in all women and created innovative formulations that are infused with botanicals and beneficial ingredients. Good to know: Pixi products are not tested on animals.

Let's have a closer look at my selection of products:

Pixi Glow Tonic
If you wanna try just one Pixi product, it must be the Pixi Glow Tonic! Called a beauty hero by the Vogue and being praised by many bloggers and customers, this has become a cult product. It's an exfoliating toner that helps to remove dead skin cells, leaves your skin with a healthy-looking glow and minimized pores. I've been using face tonics for years and think this one is a very good choice, gentle but soothing and with a wonderful smell.

Pixi Double Cleanser
Another tip is the Pixi Double Cleanse: If you don't clean double yet, you have to start today and this powerful duo manages to remove even waterproof makeup. While with other brands you end up having two bottles, it's very handy that Pixi united both in one pot. The only negative thing I have to say is that it smells a little bit weird, almost like candle wax.

Pixi Glow Mist
Got tired dry skin? This mist is an instant refresh and hydrates the skin with argan oil and aloe vera. You can use it before applying makeup or during the day. I love to use it on my naked skin and feel like it really makes my skin glow. For me, it doesn't work so well on the makeup since it destroys the flawlessness of my foundation.

Pixi Large Lash Mascara
A mascara which is supposed to make the lashes long and add volume. It's certainly a good quality one and the packaging is cute, but let's be honest: There are good mascaras and worse, but I am still looking for the ultimate lash blast that replaces lash extensions for real.

Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip
I love matte lipsticks and this one with rosehip oil is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! It's easy to apply, long-lasting, nourishes the lips and feels comfortable on the lips. I need to buy one in a more flashy colour for sure!

Pixi Liplift Max Gloss
A volume-maximizing lip treatment with a lovely fresh mint flavour. You can wear it solo or as a plumping pre-treatment for lip colour or on top of any lip colour. I use mine as a base and top it with more colour.

This one is dedicated to all the strong women out there. To the women who made history because they went their way without being stopped, not listening when people said they should behave, shut their mouths, busy themselves with being pretty and live a conventional life.

A few of them turned into icons and those are the ones who inspire thousands of women, including me, day after day to keep their back straight when they feel weak and vulnerable. I want to name three of them in this post:

Hatshepsut
who ruled Egypt as the second female pharaoh. She is considered the first great woman in history and one of the most successful rulers of Ancient Egypt. Hatshepsut made herself immortal with a breathtaking temple, showing her power.

Frida Kahlo
the surreal Mexican painter refused being stopped by livelong chronic pain, several miscarriages, and fatigue after a horrible bus accident that changed her life. She put all her soul and heart into her surreal and very personal art and had herself carried to her own exhibition with her bed when her legs didn't carry her.

Umm Kulthum
the Arabic singer who dressed as a boy at the age of 12 to sing on a stage. She became the most famous Arab voice of the 20th century and no other Arabic singer ever reached the glory of this diva. When she was buried in 1974, more than four million people attended her funeral in Cairo and until now, her songs are loved by a lot of people.

There are many more female icons I l admire and I intend to tell you about more these very soon. But let me tell you one more thing: Besides the famous women and not less important are the amazing women I can call friends and family. Yes I mean you out there, you don't build temples or have millions of fans, but you master the difficult task called life day after day. You are independent and even if you don't have an easy time you are kind and have always an open ear and a shoulder to lean on for your girls. We laugh together and sometimes we cry together, then lift our chin and face what we have to face without fear in our eyes.

You are heroines in my eyes and I adore you and your stories! Let's continue to empower each other, share support and watch each other grow! I couldn't be more grateful for having you in my life what makes you better than Hatshepsut, Frida, and Umm!

Lalique adds three modern feminine fragrances to their exclusive line Les Compositions Parfumées: Pink Paradise, Electric Purple, and Sweet Amber. Three fragrances, three colours, three emotions.

What unites them is their common inspiration by the alchemy of perfume and crystal-making. Each of them is a fusion of natural and molecular ingredients. The fragrances come in the beautiful, Art Deco-style Les Compositions Parfumées signature bottle with an elegant satin finish.

Pink Paradise:
A Fresh Sea Breeze of Musk and Woods
Juicy Citrus meets a pink fluffy cloud of musk, floating on jasmine and heliotrope-filled sea breeze with a dash of pepper. The warmth of amber and sandalwood makes it complete. A scent for a woman with a cheerful and energetic personality.

Sweet Amber:
A Whirlwind of Delectable Petals
This fragrance is a bouquet of white flowers – jasmine sambac, tuberose, and orange blossom – sweetened by vanilla and a hint of anise. It's a new take on a gourmand fragrance, as airy as a perfect meringue. The smell is made for a sensitive, yet powerful and free woman.

Electric Purple:
A Sparkling Berry Chypre
Bitter grapefruit contrasts with a spray of green mint and violet leaves, followed by a mix of berries. All are resting on a bed of moss and patchouli. This is a pop approach to chypre and a good perfume choice for a woman looking for a strong signature.

All three Eau de Parfumes come in 100ml bottles and are available at the Boutique Lalique in Zurich (Talstrasse 27) or online.

When you are invited to a crazy high tea party with a bunch of the coolest fashion people in the country, you know this is gonna be even better than the Mad Hatter's festivities! Diana Rikasari,Gerold Brenner, Marc du Murier and I went down all the way the rabbit hole and found a wonderland in pink and red, hidden in Basel. We lost ourselves, playing dress up with Jacqueline Loekito's new collection "Papin Madness".

For me it was a little sweet dream coming true: Since I had my eyes on Jacqueline Loekito's fashion for the first time at Mode Suisse, I craved wearing these genderfluid creations of the Indonesian born designer. Jacqueline studied fashion at Kingston College and the UCA in London. She moved to Switzerland for love, did her master at the FHNW and founded her own label. As well she works as a coach for students doing their master.

Jacqueline's clothes are voluminous, oversized and consisting of materials like PVC, tulle, and velvet. One of the aims of Jacqueline is to bring pink back into the wardrobes of men because she believes it can be a very masculine colour. Her collection "Papin Madness" is inspired by the disturbing story of the Papin sisters. Those two French girls were convicted of the gruesome murder of their employer's wife and daughter in 1933. The two victims had been beaten over the head until they were almost unrecognizable and their eyeballs were removed.

Knowing the story of the Papin sisters reveals the hint of horror hidden beneath sweet layers of pink and red of the fashion collection. But who doesn't like a good horror story?

"Why yellow is the most warm, noble and closest to the bright light;
why Blue is that mix of excitement and serenity, so far that it evokes the shadows;
and why Red is the exaltation of Yellow and Blue, the synthesis,
the vanishing of the bright light into the shadows" Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

This is what Goethe wrote to South American revolutionary Francisco de Miranda in a letter, referring to the flag of Colombia which has the same three colours as my jumpsuit in this look. Reading Goethe's words gives my look another dimension and reveals the philosophy behind colours.

As a true colour enthusiast, thinking about the meaning of colours is one of my favourite topics to keep my brain cells busy on some calm evenings. A lot of interesting questions and hypothesis are linked if you allow yourself to open up your mind: What is colour actually? Let's start with the fact that colours don't have a physique, you can neither touch nor taste them. They only exist in a dependence on light and change in different light situations while complete darkness makes them disappear as well.

Colours only emerge within our perception of objects, people and in nature, which leads to the question if they only exist in the eye of the beholder. To make the topic more complex we have to consider the fact that every observer experiences colour in a different way: The exact shade of red of my bag might be seen differently by every one of you. How would you describe it: Maybe as a bright red, a firefighter red, the perfect lipstick red? What feeling does it evoke in you: Is it warm, aggressive, female, powerful or dangerous? Maybe some of you are colourblind and experience it as a shade of green.

How would an animal with its very different way of seeing colours perceive my bag? Dogs and cats see mostly in green and have an especially poor vision when it comes to red tones, for example, butterflies see colours we don't perceive and vipers don't even have eyes but "see" with feeling the heat of objects.

Let me finish with the ultimate question of the day: Imagine if we would live in a world of blind people or a world without light: Would colours just stop to exist without somebody capable of perceiving them? I am curious to hear your thoughts about this…

Pop Art, an art movement rebelling against the notion of tradition that emerged in the late 1950s, redefined the idea of original and copy with its focus on mass production and repetition. Andy Warhol, the probably biggest icon of pop art, said "I used to drink. I used to have the same lunch every day, for 20 years, I guess the same thing over and over".

If any fashion label in the world embraces the spirit of pop art and keeps it alive, its Moschino! Jeremy Scott's bold and iconic designs that always come with a humorous twinkle could even be considered as the legacy of pop art.

Therefor Moschino, this year H&M designer collaboration, is THE perfect choice: While pop art embraced mass production, H&M brings Moschino to the masses with a collection full of fun. Moschino [tv] H&M features Jeremy's favourite Disney cartoon characters, MTV-logos, the iconic Moschino logo, golden bling bling and fancy novelty bags (omg a condom shaped bag).

The collection will be available online and in selected stores worldwide from November 8. If you are planning to visit Zurich, you might encounter me in my pink Moschino [tv] H&M coat queuing early in the morning.

Make space Warhol, Jeremy claims your throne as king of reproductive art!

I live in the here and now, nourished by the shrillness and comic aesthetics of recent pop culture that I soaked up like a sponge. But my style has as well retro vibes, expressed through cute vintage-style dresses and a strong affirmation of feminity that is characteristic for the 50s. Therefore, I said yes without a second thought, when I was asked by young and talented photographer Dave Honegger if I am ready to travel into a mystical vintage dreamland for a shoot. I was full of curiosity to see a place that is different from my bubblegum everyday life and curious to meet another me.

This is how we ended up in the forest on an autumn day, a group of strangers coming from all directions of the country, following the call to be part of this project. I was in their middle, as the colourful and different character on the set. I had to think of E.T. a lot when we were all staring at the sky why Dave captured us in this surreal mood.

I walked around in the forest with bare feet, feeling the leaves between my toes and hearing them rustle. It was a wonderful journey to a time long ago and it felt strange to be back in 2018 afterward, where tellys are flat and huge.

One thing stayed the same: Most people look the same and there are just a few who dare to be different and stick out.

Round and round goes the colour wheel, with no beginning and no end. The most delighting of attractions at a fun fair with its blinking lights and its light-up candy floss. To me: the colour wheel is a kind-of family get-together of colours where nobody is missing, and no member goes forgotten. The harmony of green joins with the calmness of blue, the optimism of orange mingles with the passion of red, as does the universal flow of purple when the humour of yellow shows up. What an exciting cocktail of united moods, you could call it the Long Island Ice Tea of colours!

I read that the total number of colours the human eye can perceive is about 10 million. So why, I ask myself, why does the majority of people stick to a very minimal palette when there is a vast variety without any legitimate need of restriction?

In the language of the Inuit, there exist 50 words for snow, imagine if we had a name for every shade of colour: How rich our language would be! Poets would be busy their whole lives describing every single nuance without ever reaching an end. Goethe‘s Colour Theory – which is 102 pages in length– must be replaced with ten heavy books to cope with the variety. And last but not least, dating would not get easier: Girls wouldn't just expect red roses, but their favourite shade of red - the shade of red number 245. How many dates would end in a tragedy? If we are honest: It doesn't even work with flowers on dates nowadays...

Ok, I admit: Maybe life is easier without a name for every shade of colour, but wearing all of them is undoubtedly a lot of fun!
